Killeen came out on top after a close battle with Harry Sadler (2nd), Riley McCarthy (3rd) and Mitchell McDiarmid in the final race.
In the teams event it was South Australia’s Harry Sadler and team-mate Ashley Jansen-Bathcelor who came out on top with 27 points against second place New South Wales/Victoria team of James Pearson and Roley McCarthy on 23 points and in third on 22 points Western Australia’s Luke Killeen and Jack McDiarmid.
Motorcycling Australia Track Events Manager, Sam Redfern, said Australia’s young guns put on a fantastic display at Pinjar.
“There was great racing at Pinjar from these young talented kids who have shown Australian junior speedway has plenty of talent,” she said.
“In front of a good crowd and international riders who helped the kids celebrate their victory, it was a fantastic championship round in WA.
