The Team Australia Kangaroos have come away with fifth place overall at the 2018 Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations (SON) in Poland over the weekend. The Kangaroos fell just one point short of landing on the podium overall after a tight tussle with Poland and Denmark over both nights racing.
Captain Jason Doyle was back at his best throughout both nights racing claiming seven wins in his 12 heats to leave the meeting with 29 points.
The Kangaroos had their best night on night two, claiming 20 points and finishing just one point a drift of Poland and Great Britain, whilst Russia took the night with 22 points showing how close the racing was.

1- Russia 45+1st in Grand Final
2- Great Britain 46+2nd in Grand Final
3- Poland 36
4- Denmark 35
5- Australia 35
6- Sweden 32
7- Germany 23
