The calendar has been set for the 2025 Australian Speedway Championship, which will be held over four rounds between January 3 and 11.
Next year’s campaign will take the superstars of speedway to Gillman (SA) on January 3, before travelling to Mildura (Vic) on January 5, Wodonga (Vic) on January 8 and then the finale in North Brisbane (Qld) on January 11.
Memories are still fresh from the blockbuster 2024 decider in Gillman, which saw a fast-finishing Rohan Tungate win the Duke of Edinburgh trophy by 3pts over Max Fricke, with current Speedway Grand Prix contender Jack Holder in third and former world U21 champion Jaimon Lidsey in fourth.
The 15-rider permanent roster for the 2025 Australian Speedway Championship will be announced later this year, and is again expected to ooze class from every angle with the established heavyweights taking on star power from the U21 ranks.
