The Bennco Australian Senior Speedway Sidecar Championship is returning to Western Australia after more than a decade, and it’s set to be a thrilling event for speedway fans across the country.
The championship will take place at Pinjar Park over the Easter Break, with qualifying rounds on April 8th and the championship on April 9th.
The field for this year’s championship is particularly exciting, with dual reigning champions Mark Plaisted and Ben Pitt set to defend their title against a strong group of challengers. One of the most anticipated storylines of the event is whether Australia’s best-ever Speedway Sidecar rider, 11-time champion Darrin Treloar, will be able to make it 12.
Unfortunately, due to a lack of nominations, the 2023 Australian Junior Speedway Sidecar Championship will not be held.
The Bennco Australian Senior Speedway Sidecar Championship promises to be a highlight of the Australian speedway calendar this year, and fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
