Motorcycling Australia will next week host a special three-day FIM Speedway Training Camp at Gillman Speedway, South Australia with expert coaching from the best in the business.
This three-day training camp (Tuesday, December 10 to Thursday, December 12) is with selected 250cc riders – aged 13 to under 16-years-old and 500cc riders aged 15 to 19-years-old.
Participants will benefit from expert coaching that will be delivered by FIM Track Racing Director, Armando Castagna, Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway of Nations FIM Race Director, Phil Morris, plus multiple FIM and Australian Champion Leigh Adams.
“Motorcycling Australia is proud to be working with the FIM and FIM Oceania on yet another fantastic junior development initiative to ensure the next generation of junior riders reach success both domestically and on the international stage,” Motorcycling Australia, Track Event Manager, Sam Redfern said today.
“Leading the training camp is multiple FIM, Australian champion and speedway legend, Leigh Adams, former international rider and Race Director, Phil Morris, and FIM Racing Director Armando Castagna, who will share their significant knowledge and expertise with the junior riders.
“Motorcycling Australia, the FIM and FIM Oceania want to ensure we can continue Australia’s worldwide success in speedway, and that’s why we are focused on ensuring the next generation of Australian riders have the best development opportunities available.”
